The last year has been really busy at work and very tiring. Yet it brought me a lot of satisfaction. It is great to feel appreciated and valued for the work you do. A big side effect of that is the lack of energy to do anything after work; which manifests itself in the lack of blog posts, not going to the gym anymore and spending more time watching tv.
It seems that my drive to feel like I accomplished something in my day is overpowering the drive to have a balanced life. I feel like I want to do much more in my life than I am physically capable of, yet again, I just started my career.
All of this got me thinking about what motivates us? I know money is not the main motive for me, but I can't put my finger on exactly what gives me an incredible drive to accomplish a lot one day and what, on the other hand, drives me to waste a whole day procrastinating?
What do you think drives you to accomplish things? Money? Peers? Recognition? Fame? Parents? Spouse?

Evolution is a fact! Get over it!
To all who still argue that evolution is not there: Evolution is a scientific fact. It has been witnessed in laboratories, the scientific community overwhelmingly agrees about it, so unless you still live in a cave go check your facts!
No a fish doesn't become a Monkey and no humans did not come from Monkeys either. We have a common ancestor and it took an extremely long time (millions of years) for us to evolve.
There! My first rant!

the evolution of a blogger
I've been wondering lately how any blogger goes on to write anything meaningful beyond a certain time horizon.
I mean you start off with a few ideas you want to discuss, things you want to share with the world, certain frustrations. What do you do after the initial burst of pent up emotions and thoughts that perhaps you didn't find anyone to share them with initially.
How do you not end up being another news aggregation blog with a few comments here and there to share? How do you keep discussions flowing and the topics fresh? How do you explain yourself to the world without repeating the same points over and over again?
This is what's been on my mind lately, and since (as you can see from this post) I am debating how to go on with my blog, I thought maybe whoever reads this blog can let me know what they like from the stuff I wrote? Maybe this will awaken some idea in my head and get me writing again!

You can't blame this on Hamas!
So Israeli soldiers are now admitting that there were war crimes. Let me guess, in 6 years time we will hear of the investigation results and it will say that all of these people dies in crossfire from Hamas.
I also wonder if Israelis will even care!
